Acceptable Use Policy
Effective 16 October 2026
3AM is built to operate production systems with people in charge. This policy forms part of our Software Licence Agreement and Website Terms.
Keep its safeguards
Don't disable, bypass or tamper with the safeguards that keep people in charge (approvals, quorums, budgets, the halt switch) in order to cause harm, or with the audit log, its hash chain or its signatures. Changing your own policy through the console, within the Documentation, is fine; falsifying the record of what happened is not.
Lawful use
Don't use 3AM or our services:
- to break any law or regulation, including privacy, consumer protection, financial services, export control and sanctions laws;
- to process personal data without a lawful basis, or contrary to the notices you gave the people it concerns;
- to store or send malware, or to attack, disrupt or deny service to any system or network;
- to infringe intellectual property or other rights;
- where its failure could lead directly to death, personal injury or serious physical or environmental damage, such as controlling medical devices, aircraft, weapons or nuclear facilities, unless we have agreed it in writing;
- to make decisions about individuals that produce legal or similarly significant effects (such as employment, credit, insurance or access to services), or for the high-risk uses listed in the EU AI Act;
- to present AI output to others as human-verified when it hasn't been, or as professional advice.
Licences, trials and our services
- Don't share, sell or publish trial codes, licence files or download links, or use them for a company they weren't issued to.
- Don't create accounts or request trials with false details, or several trials for one company.
- Don't circumvent licence checks, fingerprints, usage reports or service limits, or run more installs than your licence covers.
- Don't overload, scrape, reverse engineer or attack Warden, our websites or release servers, or test their security outside our security policy.
Models
When 3AM uses third-party models, follow those models' licences and acceptable use policies too. Don't use 3AM to try to extract our models, prompts or packs.
If this policy is broken
We may suspend trials, licence renewals or access to our services for breaches, and in serious cases end the agreement, as our Software Licence Agreement allows. Because 3AM runs on your systems, we can't see how it's used; we act on what we're told or what our own services observe. To report misuse, write to [email protected].
